HI Shirley!

You know when I read what you wrote I didn’t feel sad, I felt inspired by your words. Our children with special needs have been blessed into our families, our hearts and change us to the core. These special beings teach us something that we seem to have forgotten as we as parents, sometimes overlook in our life.

Again as I was reading Kurt’s story you shared, it made me think of him and I always have the same image of him in my mind, Kurt smiling. Every time I have seen him, he is always smiling and/or laughing.

 Thank you for sharing Shirley.

Hello, my name is Joanne Snowboy

As of August 2009, I have moved to Montreal with my great-nephew Dreydon Gilpin at birth he was diagnosed with bilateral optic nerve hypoplasia meaning he is legally blind, there are other diagnoses,
but this is the main reason we are here, in Montreal. He goes to a school called Philip E. Layton a school for the blind. I'm here for him as long as he needs me
